Why do you continue to eat healthy even when everyone else is not? The reason is your WHY. It’s the purpose of our existence.

Today we will clarify your WHY. It’s the reason you are who you are and work at the job or career that you choose. You may know what your why is; however, if your vision is not clear enough and without cracks; when adversity or challenges show up you’ll forget your why. Your vision is a preview of your life’s coming attractions and a mental image of your future. Vision without action is a dream. Vision with action has the power to change the world. Growth, self-development, and habits strengthen your vision. It’s why you’re here today.

It is only when you understand your why that you’ll be more capable of pursuing the things that give you fulfillment and light you up.

Photo Courtesy of NIK on UnsplashVision is the fuel that feeds your why, that makes you continue towards a goal even when you don’t feel like it.

People who have a sense of purpose are often seen as being unstoppable. They are capable of shaping their lives in the ways they want. When you become laser-focused on your goals, you will have no question about what you are getting up each day to accomplish.

On the other hand, without a why you’ll wander through life like a ship that doesn’t have a crew or heading.

Where do you see yourself living in 3 years? What kind of car will you drive? What type of job will you be doing? Who will you surround yourself with? What kind of vacation will you have? Will you be active in your community? If so, how?

I challenge you to take 5 minutes to identify your WHY within the next day. It may take longer. Brainstorm and write down whatever comes to mind without judgment.

When you are clear with your WHY, move on to identifying your vision. Again, play with this and make it fun.

Lastly, identify 3 action steps (remember ACE-action cures everything) that you are willing to commit to doing daily that will fortify your WHY and make your vision come true.

Not possible to live the life of your dreams? What would have happened if Walt Disney had believed that? You are the author of your story. I can’t wait to see what kind of story it will be.
