Keep Assumptions to A Minimum

Just as a general approach, you should absolutely try to keep your assumptions about your customers to a minimum. It’s really hard to notice when you are making assumptions, but you probably do it all the time. However, that is rarely a good way to find out about customers, because you won’t have the same level of openness, and that stops you from being able to really see them. If you can keep assumptions to a minimum, that should help you out a lot in the long run.
