From Financial Planning to Inner Peace: Michelle Woerdeman’s Journey to Helping Women Live by Design

For most of my adult life, I worked as a Certified Financial Planner, helping people build financial success while becoming the calm, grounding presence they relied on during big transitions. Over time, I realized that this part of who I am, intuitive, compassionate, steady, and genuinely invested in helping others feel safe and supported, was guiding me toward a new path.

As I deepened my own journey with meditation, journaling, EFT tapping, sound healing, and mindset work, I felt called to help women reconnect with themselves in a more meaningful way. That calling led me to open The Mind Balance & Wellness Living Tranquility Center in Plymouth, a peaceful sanctuary where women come to rest, release, and rediscover what joy, balance, and alignment feel like.

From there, my work expanded naturally. I created Happy Mind Happy Life, reimagining my podcast into a welcoming space that blends mindset coaching, honest conversations, and practical wellness tools. Across everything I create — retreats, meditations, coaching, sound healing, and the community at the Tranquility Center — my mission is simple: to help women feel more at peace, more empowered, and more aligned so they can create a life by design, not by default.

At the heart of my work is the belief that when a woman feels grounded and connected to herself, every area of her life begins to transform. My intention is to create spaces — in person, online, and through every meditation, retreat, and conversation — where women feel supported, inspired, and reminded of their own inner strength. This journey continues to evolve, and I’m grateful to walk it alongside so many incredible women.

Michelle Woerdeman is a Certified Holistic Life and Mindset Coach, Retreat Leader, and creator of Happy Mind Happy Life. After a long and successful career as a Certified Financial Planner, Michelle followed an inner calling to help women transform their lives from the inside out. She blends mindfulness, meditation, EFT tapping, sound healing, and practical coaching tools to help women release stress, reconnect with themselves, and create a life that feels aligned and intentional.

Through her business, Mind Balance & Wellness Living, Michelle hosts women’s retreats, teaches on the Insight Timer app, and shares weekly guidance on her podcast, Happy Mind Happy Life. Her work is grounded in compassion, intuition, and a genuine desire to help women cultivate peace, clarity, and confidence as they move through life’s transitions.
