Hope

There are many definitions describing the word Hope,
but do they help to teach us how to cope?
According to Webster, Hope is a desire accompanied by expectation.
To want very much, and continue to have hope, although it seems baseless.
Are they just a few selections of wing-like words
that fly around aimlessly like a flock of birds?
With Hope, you need help to unburden your fears,
to have faith in making wiser decisions with less tears.
It is often said that praying is a way to find Hope,
and by seeking peace within ourselves, we learn to cope.
Not every problem can be solved,
But with Hope, much can be resolved.
