A Delightful Dog Watching Day

Now that Spring is almost in the air,

I was outside and met a delightful pair.

It was a young man trying to get his dog to move along,

but the dog decided his master’s plan was wrong.

 I told the young man his dog had a mind of his own,

and the dog was not about to listen to his master’s tone.

The young man gave me a treat to give to the dog,

and after he devoured it, he was no longer stiff as a log.

The magical treat immediately helped the dog to move,

and the dog became quite peppy and in the groove.

This delightful pair happily went on their way,

and I too, had a delightful dog watching day.
