A Heartfelt Thanksgiving Poem About Gratitude and Family

Thanksgiving is a legal holiday that comes once a year,

that enhances our appetites and brings us lots of cheer.

It’s a gathering greeting loved ones that come from far and near,

and waiting eagerly for the delectable roasted turkey to appear.

Accompanied by stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, and much more,

followed by a glorious selection of tasty desserts galore.

At this festive table we acknowledge how thankful we are on this special day,

but are we thankful for the other three hundred and sixty-four days that come

our way?

Not always do we find joy in our everyday existence,

but to look forward to better days ahead with less resistance.

Being thankful and grateful should be a daily goal,

and your life will ring out joyously like the bells that toll.
