Heart Feels Heart

Another blind date for two hearts to meet,

would the evening be tolerable or maybe sweet?

He was tall, very handsome and witty,

she was short, delightful and pretty.

Both hearts knew that this was a special date,

for there was an unexpected rise in their heart rate.

Their dates began and so did their love escalate too,

and in time she thought that a commitment was due.

Their romance went on for over a year and a half or more,

and it was the longest she ever dated anyone before.

Her heart felt his heart that would be forever and a day,

his heart felt her heart exactly in the same way.  

He made the commitment that their hearts should be joined together,

and that they marry and live their lives sharing a lasting love forever.
