When an English Muffin Becomes French Toast: A Delightful June Poem

I did not have to hop from London, England, to Paris, France, to find this recipe, for all the ingredients needed were in my refrigerator just waiting for me.

How fun it is to find something new,
so simple to make and so delicious too.
The recipe is as follows:
It begins with an English muffin split in two,
In a bowl, add one egg with a little milk, salt, vanilla, and beat well.
Place the split English muffin halves into the bowl.
Keep turning the muffins until the muffins have absorbed most of the mixture.
Put butter in a fry pan and when fully melted, place the muffins in the pan
and when their tops are golden brown, turn them over and do the same to the other side.
When done, serve with maple syrup or any topping you like most.
And taste the magic when an English muffin becomes French toast!
