A New Year, two thousand and twenty- six has come upon us,
And begins with the month of January, always an added plus.
For we have thirty-one days in January to relish the gifts,
from Chanukah and Christmas, that gave us enormous lifts.
Although January can be a very cold month weather-wise,
it warms our hearts and stomachs and offers many a surprise.
Are you aware that January thirty first is national Hot Chocolate Day?
How sweet and delicious is that when it comes our way.
Another day to celebrate is on January thirtieth,
which Is national croissant day and that’s not a myth.
And if you are still in the mood for more sweets,
January twenty-third is national pie day with more treats.
My suggestion is not to weigh yourself for the first month of the New Year!
Wishing you happy tastebuds and a Happy New Year.
