You Already Know: Finding Your Way Back to Your Inner Guidance

The past couple of weeks, I was free. Liberated. Joyous. Carefree. Then the shift happened, like a bolt out of the blue, and it has knocked me sideways. Which makes sense, really. It's only because I stopped doing what I tell everyone else to do. Guiding everyone else and not myself. Dishing out the method, not living it.
I mentioned to a friend how I was feeling, and she reflected back to me, exactly, what I'd already intuitively received to do but hadn't yet done (caught out again!). She asked me this question:
What would you recommend your client do in this scenario?
So I let that unfold. I gave myself permission to do the inner work. Not outsource it. Not go looking for another magic formula on Facebook. Not open the fridge for something else to eat instead. But go there. That place I'd been avoiding, right there, but that I'd made out of reach through fear, through lack of trust.
This is what was present in me:
I feel lost. Stuck. Fearful. I can't seem to own my time, organise, make decisions - anything that feels like hard work, I put off. And if something's simple, I dismiss it, because if it's not difficult, then surely I'm not working hard enough. I know I can work through this. I know I'm at a stage in my life where change is happening. I'm aware of the vision issues, the connection with inner spring. I know I have the tools. I know it would help to get back into routine, to practice what I preach. I just can't seem to focus or prioritise.
And underneath all of that is something else, something harder to admit.
Since stepping away from regular social media and online engagement, I find it difficult to connect that way anymore. I see it differently now - like there's no one there. Like I'm just literally speaking to myself. I don't even know who I'm talking to, writing to. It feels like a waste of time. What's the point, if there's no audience, if there's no one even there?
And yet - a part of me knows that when I used to do this, when I was doing a video or something, I was speaking to myself too. But I had a connection. A drive. This time, I don't have that. And somehow I want it to be different. Which is ok, because I am different. But is my wanting things to be so different actually creating my biggest block?
Every time I think about putting something out there, I meet: but where do I put it?
And so I met myself with all this and did what I know to do.
I went back to the beginning.
Julie:
Stop.
Stand back. Let go.
Let move whatever wants to move, feel it out. See it for what it is - feeling, not fact.
Orient myself. In my body. Let my heart lead.
Trust what I receive. Feel it, see it, embody it.
Take empowered action. One small step in the direction of my inner compass. Even if it doesn't make sense.
Align with the new feeling. The joy, the passion, the purpose, the power, the excitement, the bliss.
I know who I am. I am my soul. I was placed here on purpose, with purpose.
I am in paradise on earth.
Job done. Own medicine received and clarity and peace restored ;-)
No one else knows me like I know me. The same applies to you, reading this.
So, what are you withholding?
What are you avoiding?
What are you not allowing yourself to receive?
And what are the excuses you're making about it - not being good enough, lack of time, being too busy, not being as important as all the mundane tasks everyone else wants from you, the exhausting belief that it's all out of your control anyway - c'est la vie!?
But it's not just about accepting the bad luck and carrying on anyway. Life is for living as the highest expression of ourselves.
That's what my own tried-and-tested seasonal work reminded me of today, the practice I so lovingly share but had inadvertently dropped the ball with myself.
Stuck. Frustrated. Indecisive. Creatively blocked. These aren't symptoms to avoid or push past - they're what matter. They're information. And when we actually use them, rather than fight them, they're what moves life forward.
So as we move through this inner spring - the first quarter moon, and on our way to summer - what is within you that you'd most love to have surface and express?
You already have the inner guidance you need. Give yourself the gift of your own reflection, your own time, your own inner knowing.
Because you do know.
